Oxford United<\/a> have made their third signing of the summer with the addition of Fulham midfielder, Luke Harris.<\/p>\n

The 20-year-old, who is a Wales U21 international, has joined the U’s on a season-long loan.<\/p>\n

Oxford United Sign Luke Harris on Loan<\/h2>\n

Promising Youngster<\/h3>\n

At just 20, this will be a third spell away from Craven Cottage for Harris, who has also turned out seven times for the Fulham first team.<\/p>\n

The Welshman spent the second half of the 2023\/24 campaign on loan at Exeter, where he scored four goals and added two assists in 21 League One appearances.<\/p>\n

The midfielder spent last season on loan at title-winning Birmingham, scoring three times in 29 league games.<\/p>\n

What Was Said<\/h3>\n

Speaking to OUTV after signing<\/a>, he said: \u201cI\u2019m delighted to be here. I just can\u2019t wait to get started. It\u2019s good to be in to meet the boys, now I\u2019m just ready to get going.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m a player who wants to try and get into the box as much as possible and get on the end of things to score.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve played a number of times in the Wales set up and I feel that will benefit me here at Oxford United. I hope all my football to date will put me in good stead for this season.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve had good experience going out and playing men\u2019s first team football. It was a good experience for me last season to win the league, even though I feel I didn\u2019t play as much as I wanted to.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t wait for this challenge and I\u2019m looking forward to showing the fans what I can do when I get out on the pitch.\u201d<\/p>\n

Head coach, Gary Rowett, said: \u201cLuke is a real high level young player who we are excited to work with.<\/p>\n

\u201cLast season, I watched a lot of Luke having kept a close eye on Birmingham City. He is a player with a lot of quality on the ball and someone who wants to take risks at the top end of the pitch.<\/p>\n
