However, he is <a  href=\"https:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/football\/2025\/07\/21\/tottenham-transfers-marc-guehi-liverpool-rival-son-korea\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">contractually<\/a> obliged to play in their pre-season tour in Seoul next month, or the club could lose 75% of their earnings for it. The confirmation of this transfer may therefore take longer.<\/p>\n<p>Fabrizio Romano had revealed last night (July 23) that LAFC have approached Son himself over a move this summer, as the MLS side plan to make him their &#8220;new superstar&#8221;, after Olivier Giroud has departed for Lille.
