The contract is to June 2030, the medical is complete and the deal will cost the Black Cats \u20ac17m plus \u20ac3m add-ons.<\/p>\n<p>The 20-year-old can play either as a fullback, central midfielder, or as a defensive midfielder. The Congo international started his career at Anderlecht featuring for then-manager Vincent Kompany. Following 19 appearances and a spell out on loan, Sadiki moved to Union Saint Gilloise in 2023 for a reported fee of \u20ac1.4 million.<\/p>\n<p>He has since made a further 108 appearances in Belgium&#8217;s top tier, scoring twice and helping Union to win the Belgian Pro League title last season, qualifying for the Champions League. It is understood that Sunderland beat off several other top European clubs to sign the 20-year-old prodigy.<\/p>\n<h3>Third Big Money Signing and More to Come<\/h3>\n<p>The \u20ac17 million signing of Congo international Noah Sadiki comes after Sunderland twice broke their transfer record this summer. First.
