Fabrizio Romano has revealed<\/a> that there has been a “verbal agreement” between Besiktas and Roma for Abraham to move to the Turkish Super Lig on a permanent deal. The striker is set to fly to Turkey, and will look to use this transfer to “revive [his] career”<\/a> after a difficult few years. Reports of varying reliability had previously discussed this as a loan with option to buy, but it appears that I Giallorossi<\/em> want to get the man who “peaked early”<\/a> off their books quickly.<\/p>\n

Romano has given his Here We Go<\/em> with Abraham set to fly to Turkey as he has accepted the destination. Whether he was tempted by the move due to this year’s appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskj\u00e6r is unclear, though it could well have been a factor. Paperwork is now being completed between the clubs for the reported approximately \u00a317 million fee.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

When Abraham was sold by the Blues to Roma, they had just signed Romelu Lukaku, suggesting that their academy product would struggle to get minutes. Lukaku netted just eight in the league before leaving, which was followed by Kai Havertz leading the line and managing just seven.
