Despite this, he committed his future to the Foxes until 2027, but with the vision of not playing in the Championship again. Ndidi’s Career So Far<\/span><\/h3>\n

After moving from Nigeria to join Genk in the Belgian Pro League, Ndidi would embark upon a successful stay in Europe. This led to the then Champions of England and Champions League Quarter Finalists Leicester City, signing him for around \u00a317m.<\/span><\/p>\n

He would then go on to become the heartbeat of the East Midlands side, which won the F.A. Cup and fought for Europe regularly. Some of his best seasons came under Brendan Rodgers, as he made the most successful tackles per 90 and interceptions per 90 in the 2020\/21 season.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, this success would then all come to an end as the Foxes were relegated. Ndidi then saw a rejuvenation of his form in a more advanced role under Enzo Maresca as he registered 12 goals and assists. Despite this, after yet another poor season in the top division for the Foxes, it is no surprise that a move could be on the cards.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ndidi’s Future<\/span><\/h3>\n

Due to the relegation clause that was triggered weeks ago by Leicester’s relegation, many sides have registered their interest in the midfielder’s services.\u00a0<\/span>Ben Jacobs has reported<\/span><\/a>\u00a0that he\u00a0understands Crystal Palace, Everton, and Fulham are all interested. The Premier League clubs are likely to be captivated by the low fee and the experience that Ndidi can bring, whilst still being 28.<\/span><\/p>\n
