Bilal El Khannouss <\/span>started<\/span>\u00a0in the attacking midfielder role, which\u00a0<\/span>saw him\u00a0<\/span>have<\/span> greater importance throughout. Bobby Decordova Reid and Stephy Mavididi <\/span>then<\/span> started off the flanks, with the latter impressing against Conor Bradley. Leicester legend Jamie Vardy then led the line before announcing his intention to leave the club this week.<\/span><\/p>\n

Leicester\u2019s Recent Form And Tactics<\/span><\/h3>\n

Despite the 4-2-3-1’s success away on the coast, trying to replicate the game plan versus Arne Slot’s Liverpool was always going to be hard. This was shown throughout as the home side conceded a total of 28 shots and an expected goal tally of 2.57.<\/p>\n

It felt inevitable that the title chasers would take the lead, and they eventually did through Trent Alexander-Arnold. Keeping the game at a draw until the last 15 minutes could be seen as an achievement for such a poor side, but it was evident the away side never got out of first gear.
