Gary Rowett’s side headed into the Watford game just four points clear of the drop. However, despite the victory, wins for Derby and Cardiff mean the gap stays the same with just eight games remaining.<\/p>\n

Michael Carrick’s side played out a goalless draw at strugglers Luton before the international break but have picked up wins in their last two games at the Riverside. Boro have three wins, two defeats and one draw from their last six games and are three points outside the top six.<\/p>\n

Oxford must look to improve their away form in the final few games, with tricky home fixtures against Sheffield United, Leeds and Sunderland to come. However, the U’s have just one win on their travels so far.<\/p>\n
