Gary Rowett’s Oxford United<\/a> remain unbeaten in the league after picking up four points in the last seven days.<\/p>\n

The new head coach has also added to his squad with the arrival of a further two new players, with the duo bringing a wealth of Championship experience.<\/p>\n

Oxford United Weekly Round-Up: Two New Arrivals and Four More Points<\/h2>\n

Millwall Striker ‘Set to Join’ the U’s<\/h3>\n

On Tuesday, journalist Dan Marsh reported<\/a> that Millwall striker Tom Bradshaw was “set to join” Oxford.<\/p>\n

He added that the 32-year-old Wales international would team up with former Lions boss Rowett for an undisclosed fee.<\/p>\n

The striker has found the net once from ten Championship appearances this season.<\/p>\n

Oxford ‘Lining Up Move’ for Hull Winger<\/h3>\n

Later that day, Football League World reported<\/a> that the U’s were among a number of clubs lining up a move for Hull winger, Ryan Longman.<\/p>\n

However, the 24-year-old is also attracting interest from teams in Scotland and Turkey, as per the report.<\/p>\n

Reliable journalist, Pete O’Rourke,<\/a> added that the U’s had made a “substantial bid” for the winger, who joined the Tigers from Brighton in 2021, initially on loan, before joining you on a permanent basis the following year.<\/p>\n

Point at Plymouth<\/h3>\n

Oxford continued their unbeaten in the league under Rowett after a 1-1 draw on the road at Plymouth<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Will Vaulks opened his U’s account on the stroke of half time but the hosts levelled the game in the second half.<\/p>\n

Siriki Dembele had two decent chances in stoppage time but it was a share of the spoils at Home Park.<\/p>\n

Bradshaw Joins Oxford United<\/h3>\n

On Thursday, Tom Bradshaw<\/a> became the third player to join the U’s during the January transfer window, with the 32-year-old arriving for an undisclosed fee.<\/p>\n

Speaking after finalising his move to the club, he said<\/a>: \u201cThis is something that I feel like I need in my career.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a fresh start, a fresh challenge, and I\u2019m ready to go out and impress everyone here at the club.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cMy aim is to leave everything out on the pitch, that\u2019s the type of player I am. I thrive off scoring goals and ultimately, it\u2019s my job now to do that so I can help the team win games.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have seen first-hand this season how strong and competitive the team here is having played against United twice, and this group is one that I want to be involved in.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe cherry on top is getting to work with Gary again who was my coach for four years, so I know what he wants from me and hopefully we can deliver together.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gary Rowett added: \u201cHe\u2019s a player who has scored 17 goals for me in this league only two years ago, so I know all about his quality as a player and it\u2019s there for everyone to see.<\/p>\n

\u201cAlso important is that he is a fantastic character and one I know will fit straight into the group and help our dynamic within the training ground.<\/p>\n

\u201cI believe the team can really benefit from his Championship knowledge. He is a person with an incredible enthusiasm who I am excited to work with again.\u201d<\/p>\n

U’s Keen on Burnley Defender<\/h3>\n

Oxford are one of several Championship clubs showing interest in Burnley defender, Hannes Delcroix, according to Football Insider<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 25-year-old has missed much of the campaign for the Clarets with injury but Scott Parker is looking to offload him on loan to gain some minutes.<\/p>\n

Oxford United’Poised’ to Sign Polish Defender<\/h3>\n

Football Insider<\/a> later reported that the U’s were “poised” to sign Huddersfield defender, Michal Helik.<\/p>\n

The report claimed that Oxford had agreed a deal for the 29-year-old, who scored nine league goals in the Championship for the Terriers last season.<\/p>\n

O’Rourke<\/a> later added that the defender has passed a medical and is set to sign a two-and-half year deal with the U’s.<\/p>\n

Helik Signs<\/h3>\n

The Poland international was confirmed shortly after. Speaking on his move, he said<\/a>: \u201cI am joining this club because I can see the ambition. This is the right place for me because there is a drive to improve and that matches my ambition.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have come here with the aim of helping to keep Oxford United in the Championship this season. We should always aim higher, and I will do my best every day to win for the club and push us further up the table.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am experienced but also very hungry to learn and improve every day. I am ready to fight for this badge and I want to achieve our goals together. I am still improving, the best is yet to come from me.”<\/p>\n

Rowett added: \u201cMicha\u0142\u202fhas been one of the most dominant defenders in the Championship over the last four years. Each season at Barnsley and Huddersfield he has showcased his ability as a quality central defender. It\u2019s fantastic for the club to welcome a player of his pedigree into the group.<\/p>\n

\u201cMicha\u0142\u202fhas been playing regular football for Huddersfield this season, showing his leadership as captain on a number of occasions. It\u2019s a real positive for me as a head coach to know we are bringing in a player who can affect the starting XI straight away. We are excited to work alongside Micha\u0142\u202fgoing forward.\u201d<\/p>\n

Oxford United Star Linked With Championship Heavyweights<\/h3>\n

On Saturday, Football Insider<\/a> reported that Leeds and Sunderland were “tracking” Oxford youngster, Tyler Goodrham.<\/p>\n

The 21-year-old, who is also a target for Swansea and Coventry, has made seven goal contributions so far this season.<\/p>\n

However, the academy graduate recently penned a new long-term deal so should a bid come in, it would be expected to surpass the club-record sale of \u00a33 million which Leeds paid the U’s for Kemar Roofe in 2016.<\/p>\n

Win Over Blackburn<\/h3>\n

Gary Rowett remains unbeaten in the league and has won all three games at Grenoble Road following a 1-0 victory over Blackburn.<\/p>\n

It was a positive display from the U’s and they created several chances throughout the 90, but the game’s only goal game from a wonderful Cameron Brannagan free kick.<\/p>\n
