The Black Cats will sign the Frenchman on loan until the end of the season with an obligation to buy should they achieve their aim of securing promotion to the Premier League.<\/p>\n<p>According to the <a  href=\"https:\/\/www.sunderlandecho.com\/sport\/football\/sunderland-afc\/enzo-le-fee-heading-for-sunderland-as-potential-club-record-deal-agreed-with-as-roma-4935941\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sunderland Echo<\/a>, the fee, should the club regain their Premier League status would be 23 million Euros. However, like several others, he was sold by Lorient following their successful season.<\/p>\n<p>A season at Rennes followed before his form and ability caught the eye of Italian giants AS Roma. The Serie A side paid a reported 23 million euros for him last summer. Captain Dan Neil, Jobe Bellingham and Chris Rigg have performed exceptionally well this season; however, both Bellingham and Rigg are both teenagers and with Rigg amongst others injured these past few games, it has forced Le Bris to change tactics.
