He adds that the Spanish club considers Casado to be an “untouchable” member of the squad after his impressive rise under Hansi Flick’s system. The journalist also states that both the head coach as well as sporting director Deco see him as a key part of the current project.<\/p>\n

It’s further claimed that Barcelona had also inserted an \u00a383 million release clause when Casado signed a new long-term contract with the club in June, 2024. Which will make it tough for any team to sign him anytime soon.<\/p>\n

The 21-year-old midfielder has become a pivotal part of Barcelona’s midfield shape under Flick and has started in eight of their 12 La Liga matches so far in this campaign.
