Lindstr\u00f8m started his football career at Br\u00f6ndby, where he rose through the youth ranks before making his senior debut in the 2019\/2020 season. His final season at the Danish club saw the winger’s best return in front of goal.<\/p>\n

He found the back of the net ten times while assisting a further ten times, in the league. This return earned him a move to the Bundesliga with Eintracht Frankfurt. He managed 18 goal contributions in the league during his two seasons with The Eagles.<\/p>\n

At the end of the 2022\/23 season, Napoli saw his potential and signed Lindstr\u00f8m for a \u00a321 million fee. His debut season in the Serie A was disappointing, failing to make his mark as The Blues finished tenth. None of the three managers across the season could help the winger find his form as he failed to tally any goal contributions in the league.<\/p>\n

How Jesper Lindstr\u00f8m Fits in at Everton<\/h3>\n

Last season Everton noticeably lacked a right-footed winger, a gap in the squad that Lindstr\u00f8m will fill. First-choice wingers Jack Harrison and Dwight McNeil both heavily favour their left foot. This often caused a slowdown in attack as they would need to cut inside from the right to deliver a ball into the box. The Danish winger provides a new dynamic to the right side where he can attack the baseline, something missing from Dyche\u2019s squad.<\/p>\n

Over the last season, the former Br\u00f6ndby player averaged 0.78 tackles in the attacking third per 90 minutes of game time. This ranks him in the top 1% of wingers across Europe\u2019s best five competitions – an archetypal fit for Dyche\u2019s system. Everton ranked fifth in tackles inside their forward third in the Premier League last season.<\/p>\n
