David Ornstein has revealed that Arsenal\u2019s\u00a0<\/span>\u2018rising star\u2019<\/span><\/a>, Reiss Nelson, may want a transfer away from the Emirates.<\/span><\/p>\n

In The Athletic, Ornstein\u00a0<\/span>revealed<\/span><\/a>\u00a0that Nelson has \u201cinformed the club that he wants to assess his options for a potential transfer this summer\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

We interpret this as meaning potential loans or permanent moves. Nelson has spent temporary spells at Hoffenheim and Feyenoord in the past, and at 24 years <\/span>old<\/span> seems unlikely to break into the first team. He will <\/span>surely<\/span> be looking for a permanent move if he does leave.<\/span><\/p>\n

Current and Previous Interest<\/span><\/h3>\n

Ornstein revealed that \u201capproaches for him arrived in <\/span>January<\/span>\u201d but Arsenal rejected them as they required depth to fight on two fronts: for the Champions League and the Premier League.<\/span><\/p>\n

Who Would He Suit?<\/span><\/h3>\n

All four of the mentioned clubs would be suitable destinations for Nelson.<\/span><\/p>\n

West Ham does seem to <\/span>be linked<\/span> with every winger under the sun. They have already announced Luis Guilherme for a\u00a0<\/span>reported<\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u20ac30 million and have recently <\/span>been linked<\/span> with\u00a0<\/span>Matias Soule<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>for \u00a335 million. Should the Hammers announce a second pricey winger, we expect their interest in Nelson to die.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nottingham Forest would be a good fit: wingers from other Big Six clubs, such as Anthony Elanga and Callum <\/span>Hudson-Odoi<\/span> have integrated well.<\/span><\/p>\n

Crystal Palace is another side where young, creative players have flourished previously. Nobody needs reminding of the seasons that Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise are coming off of.<\/span><\/p>\n
