This is also unsurprising as all parties should be relatively happy with the move: Kompany gets a move to a big European club, Burnley should receive a hefty fee, and Bayern will receive their new man in charge.<\/p>\n This update comes after the former Manchester City captain reportedly accepted\u00a0the job right after his first call with the club on May 20.<\/p>\n Romano explains<\/a> that the Bayern hierarchy believes he “has huge potential to become a top coach, trusting his vision and ideas”.<\/p>\n The German powerhouse announced back in February that Thomas Tuchel would leave the club at the end of the season, despite having a year left on his contract.
