Jamal Lowe Misses Out On Silverware With Jamaica<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Jamaica manager Heimir Hallgr\u00edmsson re-called Lowe to his squad ahead of their 2024 CONCACAF Nations League Finals matches after a period of absence from the national team.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jamaica qualified for the final stage of the CONCACAF Nations League for the first time in their history, where they faced reigning champions USA in the semi-final at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.<\/span><\/p>\n

Swansea forward Lowe was in the Jamaica starting lineup but was substituted in the 65th minute with his team one goal ahead. Unfortunately for Lowe and his teammates, the USA found an equaliser in stoppage time before scoring twice in added time to win the match 3-1 and progress to the final.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Reggae Boyz will return to the same venue on Sunday to take on Panama in the third-place play-off after they were defeated 3-0 by Mexico.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lowe reunited with former Swans players Joel Latibeaudiere and Kasey Palmer in the Jamaica squad, alongside many other UK-based players such as Michail Antonio, Bobby Decordova-Reid and Dexter Lembikisa.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lowe said to the Jamaican media: \u201cIt\u2019s been a while since I\u2019ve been involved in a camp so it\u2019s good to be back.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Liam Cullen Hopes to Lead Wales to Euro 2024<\/span><\/h3>\n

Liam Cullen and Ben Cabango were the Swansea duo to originally be called up by Rob Page to his\u00a0<\/span>Wales squad<\/span><\/a>\u00a0ahead of their crucial Euro 2024 play-offs.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, after a calf injury that forced him out of the match against Cardiff, Cabango has been withdrawn from the Page\u2019s squad and replaced by QPR defender Morgan Fox.<\/span><\/p>\n

After making several appearances for Wales\u2019 youth sides, Cullen made his senior debut in a 4-0 friendly victory over Gibraltar last October.<\/span><\/p>\n

He spoke of his desire for Wales to qualify for Euro 2024 in Germany: “I have yet to experience a qualification for a major tournament.<\/span><\/p>\n

“It\u2019s something I want to be a part of, and I hope I can help us get there.”<\/span><\/p>\n

On Thursday, Cullen was an unused substitute in Wales’ 4-1 domination of Finland at the Cardiff City Stadium. He could be handed a chance to play when Poland travel to Cardiff in the play-off final on Tuesday. Poland progressed to the play-off final after dismantling Estonia 5-1 and will be a tough opponent for the Dragons.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ukranian striker Mykola Kuharevich has been called up to his country\u2019s U23 side for an Olympic Games warm-up friendly fixture against Japan on Monday.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ukraine are in a group with 2008 Olympic gold medalist Argentina, Morocco, and an undecided nation from Asia ahead of the Olympic football programme in Paris, which kicks off in July.<\/span><\/p>\n
