Luckhurst claims that an official announcement from United confirming the 20-year-old’s acquisition could be delayed by a further three days. This is apparently because the Danish forward arrived in Manchester later than officially planned and was unable to meet supporters and conduct expected activities around his signing.<\/span><\/p>\n

It’s added that the deal is not in jeopardy – and should be finalised shortly. Luckhurst hints that Erik ten Hag’s side are actually planning to announce him as their newest signing around the time of their next pre-season friendly game at Old Trafford against Lens on Saturday. This could be similar to how they announced the signing of Raphael Varane from Real Madrid in 2021 when he was introduced to the Old Trafford crowd as their newest player.<\/span><\/p>\n
