Chelsea have contacted Ajax over the possibility of signing midfielder Mohammed Kudus, as per\u00a0<\/span>The Athletic’s David Ornstein<\/span><\/a>. The Blues are looking for a new midfielder after losing the likes of Mason Mount, N’Golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic this summer.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ornstein also adds that\u00a0<\/span>Chelsea<\/span><\/a>\u00a0are close to agreeing personal terms with Kudus, who is one of a number of options being considered by the club to improve their midfield line. The midfielder’s contract with the Eredivisie side runs until 2025, and according to Ornstein, he has recently rejected an extension offer.<\/span><\/p>\n
