Next, the goalkeeper situation needed to be addressed, and, as such, Guglielmo Vicario was signed as a long-term successor to Hugo Lloris, allowing Spurs to modernise in goal. The Italian keeper has already played his first game in a Tottenham shirt, with an at times shaky performance against West Ham United in preseason on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Manor Solomon and James Maddison also joined, bolstering Spurs’ attack, while a clause in Pedro Porro’s contract sees him become a permanent Tottenham player too.<\/p>\n
