It has been reported<\/a> recently that the Manchester Reds held talks with Atalanta<\/a> over a possible move for the Danish striker and that manager Erik ten Hag even held video calls with him in an attempt to convince him about the move.<\/p>\n

In an interview with Danish outlet Berlingske, Hojlund opened up on that and the reported United interest – saying: “There has been no video call. I can’t say anything about that. It’s a huge club, so I must have done something right if it says they want me. My goal is to reach the top shelf, and you can say that Manchester United is. So it will be huge.”<\/em><\/p>\n

This confirms that the Danish striker didn’t have any talks with the Dutch gaffer so far – but he refused to rule out a possible summer move either. The Red Devils are reportedly going to have to pay around \u00a340 million to sign the Atalanta striker<\/a> as they continue their search for a new forward.<\/p>\n
