According to Samuel Luckhurst<\/a> of the Manchester Evening News, Manchester United have slashed the price of young “sensation”<\/a> Anthony Elanga, changing their tune and deciding to listen to offers for the Swede this summer. With Champions League football coming to Old Trafford next season, it makes sense that Erik ten Hag is looking to move out players who don’t have his trust, and Elanga’s lack of game time even after talks with the boss<\/a> confirms that he fits this category.<\/p>\n

With 19 of his 26 appearances in all competitions coming off of the bench and a total of zero goals, Elanga’s playing time drastically decreased throughout the season. The right-footed winger was either on the bench or not in the squad at all for the last 11 games Premier League games of the season, having lost his place in the squad to 18-year-old Alejandro Garnacho and new signing Antony, whose relationship with Ten Hag stretches back to their time together at Ajax, among others.<\/p>\n
