The Premier League is back and so too is the pressure for Graham Potter to deliver in London. Let’s take a look at the Chelsea player ratings for their 2-0 win over Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge.<\/p>\n

Chelsea Player Ratings vs Bournemouth<\/h2>\n

Kepa Arizzabalaga – 6<\/h3>\n

A quiet night for the Spanish keeper but he made saved when needed and bailed out his defence when pressure was applied.<\/p>\n

Marc Cucurella – 6<\/h3>\n

At times out of position on the defensive end but his attacking exploits kept the opposition on their toes.<\/p>\n

Thiago Silva – 6.5<\/h3>\n

Largely as composed as ever but he had some unusually nervy moments when pressured.<\/p>\n

Kalidou Koulibaly – 7<\/h3>\n

Reliable on ball when needed and put a stop to a number of Bournemouth attacks.<\/p>\n

Reece James – 7<\/h3>\n

Showed just why the team has missed him in his recent absence. A constant threat on the right side of the field before his night was cut short.<\/a><\/p>\n

Jorginho – 6.5<\/h3>\n

Chelsea’s metronome kept things ticking in midfield. Didn’t do anything spectacular but never needed to.<\/p>\n

Denis Zakaria – 8<\/h3>\n

A commanding presence on both offence and defence. Shades of N’Golo Kante from the loan signing.<\/p>\n

Mason Mount – 8<\/h3>\n

Was a bright spot all night operating behind the attackers. Scored an excellent goal and looked like a creative threat all night.<\/p>\n

Christian Pulisic – 6<\/h3>\n

Had a goal chalked off and never looked likely to cause much trouble otherwise. Solid on defence when tracking back but was almost invisible in the second half.<\/p>\n

Kai Havertz – 8<\/h3>\n

Scored a real striker’s goal and was dangerous throughout. His movement kept the opposition defence worried.<\/p>\n

Raheem Sterling – `7<\/h3>\n

A creative outlet on the wing who set up the opening goal and looked like a threat consistently.<\/p>\n

Cesar Azpilicueta (substitute) – 6<\/h3>\n

Had the unenviable task of replacing James but put in a solid shift on the defensive side.<\/p>\n

Conor Gallagher (Substitute) – 6<\/h3>\n

A late substitute but he was always in the right place when needed on both ends of the pitch.<\/p>\n

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Substitute) – 5.5<\/h3>\n

Came on with Gallagher but never got a chance to do anything. Messed up a chance at a counterattack in his only real notable moment.<\/p>\n

Trevoh Chalobah (Substitute) – 5<\/h3>\n

Came on with minutes to go to make a back three. Didn’t get to do much of anything when he came on.<\/p>\n
