Argentina have the edge, winning the first two games in International Friendlies in 2007 and 2009. However, it was France who won the more important game. In 2018, the French defeated Argentina 4-3 in the Round of 16 and eliminated them from the FIFA World Cup.<\/p>\n<p>In that game, a young Mbapp\u00e9 played well, scoring two goals. The loss also marked the second-straight time that Argentina lost to the team that would eventually win the FIFA World Cup.
