However, they came out a lot brighter after the break and reduced the deficit through Billy Bodin.<\/p>\n<p>But just a few minutes later, Matty Taylor was sent off with a straight red card, making the task even more difficult for a struggling U&#8217;s side.<\/p>\n<h3>Injury Stops Loan Move for Fringe Player<\/h3>\n<p>Oxford United midfielder Oisin Smyth has picked up a hamstring injury ahead of a loan move away from the club.<\/p>\n<p>This is according to Karl Robinson who has said the January deadline day signing was set to join a club in the National League for one month.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe was going out on loan and unfortunately did his hamstring,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oxfordmail.co.uk\/sport\/23071710.oxford-uniteds-oisin-smyth-injures-hamstring-prior-loan-move\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Robinson told the Oxford Mail.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s worked really hard and he\u2019s devasted because he was going to get a month\u2019s worth of football, and unfortunately that\u2019s not going to be the case now.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe club he was going to in the Conference was a decent club, one with history in the Football League, so it would\u2019ve been a real positive one.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe need to see him playing in England to get a reputation, to get a League Two loan for this season, so that he\u2019s ready for the summer, to compete with us the following year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s the long-term plan for Oisin.
