According to Fabrizio Romano, “talks remain ongoing”<\/a> between Chelsea<\/a> and Barcelona<\/a> for attacking superstar Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The London club are looking to deepen their attacking reinforcements before the end of the window.<\/p>\n

There are a few options for the deal. The first is the potential for a straight purchase. According to David Ornstein<\/a>, as much as talks remain ongoing there is a difference in the valuations that both clubs place on the player. This could be a serious barrier to the deal.<\/p>\n

However, Ornstein also stated that there is potential for a loan move. A move for Aubameyang until the end of the season could be ideal, with the Blues shoring up their attacking options without shelling out for the relatively high fee Barcelona demand.<\/p>\n
