The defensive midfielder is a key addition to the squad at Carrington. According to Premier League rules, the Old Trafford hierarchy must register the player before noon on Friday, August 19th, 2022 if he is to play against Liverpool<\/a>. In a report by Jose Felix Diaz<\/a>, he reveals that there is just the midfielder’s medical – a formality – standing in his way before he joins the Red Devils.<\/p>\n

How Much Does the Deal Cost?<\/h3>\n

In terms of the transfer fee, the deal to bring Casemiro to Old Trafford will cost the club’s hierarchy around \u00a360 million. Whilst Los Blancos were not willing to let Casemiro go easily, they were in no rush to push the Salford club to a higher fee. The Brazilian is no longer in the first eleven at the Bernabeu, so Real Madrid are more willing to let him go.<\/p>\n
