The Italian journalist revealed the details of United’s pursuit of Sesko on his YouTube channel.<\/p>\n

“The interest of Manchester United in Benjamin Sesko, this talented striker from Red Bull Salzburg, is concrete.” Romano said. “Manchester United had direct contacts with his agents, he’s a player appreciated by United, he’s one of the players they are considering”.<\/p>\n

He went on to speak about why the deal will not be simple: “The problem, on Sesko’s side, is that the answer of RB Salzburg has always been very clear when many clubs approached [them]…’we want to sell Sesko next summer in 2023, not this summer’. So United will need a really important bid if they want to sign Sesko immediately, because the plan of RB Salzburg was to keep the player for one more season, and sell him next summer.<\/p>\n

“So, not an easy one, but Sesko is still a player that Manchester United are considering and we have to see where that goes”.<\/p>\n
