Brandon Williams may leave Manchester United<\/a> this summer if a suitable offer is tabled for him, according to journalist Jonathan Shrager<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The versatile full-back spent last season on loan at Norwich City<\/a> and can’t be guaranteed first-team playing time at United next season, which may lead to him finding a club that can.<\/p>\n

Brandon Williams Allowed to Leave for Suitable Offer<\/h2>\n

Will Williams Stay or Go?<\/h3>\n

The Manchester-born 21-year-old came through the academy at his boyhood club, so he may be inclined to stay and fight for his place.<\/p>\n

Reports suggest that, while United would be open to offers, they would prefer him to try and earn a starting place. This may mean Williams will leave on loan if he does leave at all.<\/p>\n

The belief is that the player will use the preseason as a chance to stake his claim in incoming Erik ten Hag<\/a>‘s squad. The Englishman was out of favour last season under Ralf Rangnick but enjoyed more luck with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the dugout.<\/p>\n

United’s full-back options are far from settled at the moment and Williams may be able to build from a season of more consistent game time in Norfolk.<\/p>\n

What Other Transfers Are in Progress for Manchester United?<\/h3>\n

As fans will tell you, business has been slow in the red half of Manchester so far this summer.<\/p>\n

Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong<\/a> remains a long-term target of United and the interest remains. Reports suggest a fresh bid for the midfielder<\/a> will be lodged soon.<\/p>\n

Ten Hag may be focusing on trimming his squad down before working on incomings.\u00a0Pogba<\/a> and\u00a0Lingard<\/a> will leave when their contracts expire, and Wan-Bissaka<\/a> is rumoured to be on the transfer list.<\/p>\n

Jurrien Timber recently rejected a move to United, much to Ten Hag’s surprise<\/a>, so the focus will be on other targets such as David Raum.<\/p>\n
