Association and playing and coaching with Oxford United.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Mousinho is under contract until next summer but the defender will likely spend most of his time on the touchline alongside Karl Robinson.<\/p>\n<h3>McNally Targeted by Recently Relegated Premier League Club<\/h3>\n<p>Oxford United defender Luke McNally has been targeted by recently relegated Premier League club, Burnley, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oxfordmail.co.uk\/sport\/20220475.burnley-interested-oxford-united-centre-back-luke-mcnally---reports\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reports the Oxford Mail.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Clarets have seen long-serving defenders James Tarkowski and Ben Mee depart Turf Moor already this summer and need to begin a rebuild ahead of their return to the Championship next season under the new management of former Manchester City captain, <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/football\/2022\/06\/14\/manchester-city-legend-new-burnley-manager\/\" target=\"_self\">Vincent Kompany<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The report suggests that Burnley are considering making a \u2018\u00a31 million-plus\u2019 bid for the 22-year-old, who has two years remaining on his current deal.<\/p>\n<p>The young centre-back enjoyed his first full season at the club, scoring four times from 35 appearances in all competitions.<\/p>\n<p>However, should McNally depart, it would leave the U&#8217;s with just two recognised centre-backs in John Mousinho and Elliott Moore, with the former now 36.<\/p>\n<h3>Bids Rejected From Burnley<\/h3>\n<p>Following news that Burnley had shown interest in McNally, it has now been revealed that the Clarets have since seen three bids rejected.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thesun.ie\/sport\/football\/8973481\/ireland-nathan-collins-burnley-departure-transfer-replacement\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">According to Neil O&#8217;Riordan of the Irish Sun<\/a>, Burnley &#8220;have had three bids &#8211;
