Senegalese superstar Sadio Mane is entering the final year of his contract at Liverpool<\/a> and has been linked with a move away<\/a>. Although Mohamed Salah has revealed he will be remaining on the red side of Merseyside<\/a>, his fellow attacker claims he will reveal his plans for the future after the Champions League final.<\/p>\n

Football journalist Fabrizio Romano tweeted footage of Mane<\/a> in an interview where he exclaims: “There will be new discussions at the end of the season. I\u2019ll answer after Champions League final\u201d.<\/p>\n

A bittersweet day for the Merseyside club as they looked to pin down both of their most influential attackers but are entering an important weekend with only one of their star men confirmed.<\/p>\n

Sadio Mane Future at Liverpool Unconfirmed as of Yet<\/h2>\n

One Last Dance<\/h3>\n

The Champions League final is Liverpool\u2019s last game of the season, and they will be hoping for European success when they match up against Real Madrid<\/a>. Liverpool fans, however, have been left wondering whether Mane will continue to be part of the squad next year amidst rumours of clubs that may be interested in his services. More recently, his responses to interview questions have stirred controversy within the fanbase.<\/p>\n

The interview with Sky Sports was initially scheduled as a pre-Champions League final day but the focus was re-shifted to contract talks of both Salah and Mane. At the moment, it seems that Mane\u2019s sights are set on Saturday\u2019s game and Saturday\u2019s game only.<\/p>\n

He told Sky Sports:<\/a> “For sure it will be special to win it, and make it seven (European Cup wins for the club). And this question (my future) I will answer after the Champions League. Stay or not – I’ll answer after the Champions League.”<\/p>\n

Following on from the comments from both players, manager Jurgen Klopp<\/a> ensured fans that the outcome from Paris on Saturday would not influence discussions with either Salah or Mane.<\/p>\n

He said: “No [it will not have an effect]. Not at all. What do you mean? If we win then they will want to go now? Or\u2026 We are in talks with all the players. But no [it has not affected the players], now is not the time.<\/p>\n

Liverpool Without Sadio Mane<\/h3>\n

Unsurprisingly, Mane\u2019s obvious talent has led to a shed of goals even though predominantly working from out wide. The Senegal international, who signed from Southampton<\/a>, has scored an impressive 120 goals in 268 games.<\/p>\n

Although Chairman Tom Werner has continually reinstated his importance to this squad, it\u2019s fair to say that Liverpool are not short of talent. Diogo Jota\u2019s emergence and the explosive start of Luis Diaz’s<\/a> career at Liverpool show that Mane\u2019s output is replaceable.<\/p>\n

If Mane decides to find pastures new, there will be plenty of potential suitors. The German giants Bayern Munich are reportedly keen<\/a> for the 30-year-old to bolster their attacking reinforcements with Robert Lewandowski<\/a> potentially parting ways with the club.<\/p>\n
