Bayern Munich<\/a> are interested in Marcus Rashford, but the forward wants to stay at Manchester United and impress new manager Erik ten Hag, as reported by the Telegraph.<\/a> Bayern are believed to be keeping an eye on Rashford\u2019s situation<\/a>\u00a0but have other targets in mind before the Englishman, such as Liverpool\u2019s Sadio Mane<\/a>.

Marcus Rashford was not named in Gareth Southgate\u2019s England squad<\/a> for the upcoming fixtures, meaning he needs to hit the ground running next season to be on the plane to Qatar.<\/p>\r\n

Marcus Rashford Wants to Stay Amid Bayern Munich Interest<\/h2>\r\n

Marcus Rashford Keen to Prove Himself to Erik ten Hag<\/h3>\r\n

The 24-year-old will undergo intense warm weather training next month with the aim of impressing the new staff. Erik ten Hag has said Manchester United\u2019s pre-season will start on June 27, giving him an abundance of time to work with his players before the season starts.<\/p>\r\n

Marcus Rashford intends to be ready for the new season, after having the worst season in his senior career so far. The Englishman started just 13 Premier League games this season and just four of the final 14. The forward felt that regularly being moved around in different positions contributed to his struggles.

Manchester United\u2019s number 10 scored 21 goals and registered 15 assists<\/a> in all competitions last season, showing there is still a player in there. There is still questions over Rashford\u2019s best position with the Englishman playing 149 at left wing (46 goals, 33 assists) and 121 at centre forward (42 goals and 20 assists). With the Red Devils seemingly looking for a striker, Rashford could have his eyes on fulfilling that role under ten Hag.<\/p>\r\n

As mentioned, Marcus Rashford, or teammate Jadon Sancho for that matter, have not been selected by Gareth Southgate for England\u2019s June fixtures. Jarrod Bowen and Jack Grealish are two of the forwards that have pipped the United men to the Three Lions\u2019 shirt.<\/p>\r\n

If the competition had been this summer instead of winter, Rashford would not have made it. The Englishman needs to hit the ground running under his new gaffer, or he could be watching the World Cup from his sofa.<\/p>\r\n
