As reported by Fabrizio Romano<\/a>, the agent of Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus has confirmed that the forward is in talks with a rival Premier Lague side. Jesus’ agent Marcelo Pettinati told Romano: \u201cWe had talks with Arsenal about Gabriel Jesus, we like the project – it\u2019s a possibility we\u2019re discussing…There are six more clubs interested in Gabriel – he\u2019s focused on final games with Man City, we\u2019ll see\u201d<\/p>\n

With Manchester City signing Erling Haaland<\/a>, the writing is on the wall for Gabriel Jesus at the club. Jesus would still get game time but a player like him will want to be a first-choice player. With a major signing like Haaland on the way Jesus and his agent likely foresee a reduction in playing time and thus a reduction in the overall value of the player, something that every major player tries to avoid nowadays. Jesus’ current tally sits at an impressive 95 goals in 234 games, with 58 of those goals coming in the Premier League. Not only is Jesus a man who can score goals but he’s proven that he can do it in the Premier League, which is a vital characteristic for top clubs as we’re all aware of the number of promising strikers who come to the Premier League and fail to acclimate to the league.<\/p>\n
