Romelu Lukaku agent Federico Pastorello has given his say on his client\u2019s Chelsea future, as reported by Fabrizio Romano<\/a>, he said: \u201cWe can\u2019t think about negotiations, we don\u2019t know new Chelsea owners\u2026 let alone if we can open talks with Inter or AC Milan. We have to wait.\u201d

Thomas Tuchel replied to these comments, saying, as also cited by Romano<\/a>: \u201cIf he plans to talk with the owner then maybe it’s not his plan to talk with me. If he gets a meeting, maybe he can talk.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

Romelu Lukaku Agent Speaks on Belgian Forward’s Uncertain Future at Chelsea<\/h2>\r\n

The Situation<\/h3>\r\n

The Belgian striker joined Chelsea last summer for \u00a397.5 million, but the transfer has not worked for either party. Lukaku opened up to Italian media in December, declaring his desire to return to Inter Milan<\/a> one day and not being happy with his situation in London. His agent, Federico Pastorello, has revealed the striker could be an option for both Inter and AC Milan<\/a>, having left the former for Stamford Bridge in the summer.

Thomas Tuchel\u2019s reply shows the disharmony between the Belgian and the club. Tuchel and Lukaku have not met to discuss the striker\u2019s future.. Lukaku was meant to be the final piece of the puzzle for the European Champions but has only been able to muster eight goals in 25 league appearances.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

Chelsea Need More Clarity Following Ownership Change<\/h3>\r\n

First thing\u2019s first, Chelsea would need a buyer. News dropped this week that Todd Boehly has completed a \u00a34.25 billion takeover<\/a>, with the sale expected to be completed in late May. When Chelsea have their new owner, Lukaku can speak directly about his future. However, if Lukaku was to leave, Chelsea’s potential expenditure this summer to replace him is unknown adding further doubt to summer business. Tuchel has already said he wants the striker<\/a> to be an important part of his squad going forward.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

Romelu Lukaku Responds<\/h3>\r\n

Lukaku has dropped the following statement<\/a> on social media: “Never ever will I let someone speak for me…I kept my mouth shut and focused on helping the team and end the season in the best way possible. So if someone out there trying to say something about me and the club…Not in my name. RL.”<\/p>\r\n

It’s turned out to be a dramatic 29th birthday for the frontman.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n
