Whilst things have looked bleak for some time now, they are starting to take a turn for the better. Following the January signings of Ferran Torres and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Barcelona are hitting their best form again, particularly highlighted in Sunday night&#8217;s 4-0 win in <em>El Clasico<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>That duo have scored eight of Barca&#8217;s last 12 goals proving recruitment, since Xavi took the reins, has been going very well.<\/p>\n<p>Xavi, a former midfielder himself, is now looking to add Ivorian midfielder Franck Kessie to the fold. Kessie is a reliable midfielder, who can sit defensively or play a bit more advanced. He also has a goal in him and can take a penalty. He wouldn&#8217;t have been short of interest this summer, being available on a free, either, so appears to have chosen Xavi&#8217;s side.<\/p>\n<p>Romano states that Barcelona have a verbal agreement with AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie that will see him earn a salary of \u20ac6.5 million.
