Chelsea<\/a> defender Antonio Rudiger reportedly remains unhappy with the Premier League leaders’ latest contract offer, meaning his future at the club is still doubtful.<\/p>\n According to Fabrizio Romano<\/a>, European giants Real Madrid<\/a>, Paris Saint-Germain<\/a> and Bayern Munich<\/a> have all shown interest in signing the 28-year-old, who could be available as a free agent next summer.<\/p>\n Rudiger has proven himself to be one of Europe’s finest defenders under the management of Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel, who has enjoyed great success at Stamford Bridge since his arrival in January 2021.<\/p>\n In addition to winning the Champions League, Tuchel has put together the Premier League’s meanest defence, with his Chelsea side conceding only 5 goals in 13 top-flight games so far this season.<\/p>\n Rudiger has been an integral part of the Blues’ mean defence, having only missed one league game all season. Additionally, he has started all five games Chelsea have played in the Champions League. The reigning European champions top Group H ahead of Juventus<\/a>, and travel to Russia to face Zenit Saint Petersburg on matchday six.<\/p>\n Given his importance to the side, Chelsea would ideally like to agree a new contract with Rudiger before January, at which point he will be able to talk with foreign clubs over a possible free transfer at the end of the season. Crucially, the defender is thought to be happy at the club, and is not agitating for a move away.<\/p>\n Ahead of their final Champions League group-stage fixture with Zenit, Chelsea face difficult league matches away at Watford<\/a> and West Ham United<\/a>.<\/p>\n The month of January may present Tuchel’s side with the biggest test of their league title credentials, with back-to-back fixtures against Liverpool<\/a>, Manchester City<\/a> and Tottenham Hotspur<\/a>.
