With matchday 10 fast-approaching, making predictions about the current Premier League is becoming increasingly difficult. Such is the unexpected nature of certain results, we are almost guaranteed entertainment on a weekly basis. And this week should be no different. A host of fixtures could decide the near future for certain clubs. Tottenham Hotspur v Manchester United, for example, very much has the feel of a make or break for both Ole Gunner Solskjaer and Nuno Esp\u00edrito Santo.<\/p>\n
It is set to be another enthralling weekend of action, see below for our predictions, or read part one here.<\/a><\/p>\n Bouncing back after a 5-0 loss against Liverpool in spectacular fashion last time out against Everton<\/a> – coming back to win 5-2<\/a> – Watford will be keen to make it back-to-back wins for the first time this season, up agains Southampton. Meanwhile, the Saints will be hoping to get back to winning ways, having draw with Burnley in their last Premier League game.<\/p>\n On paper, it is a game that could go either way. Watford<\/a>, with Claudio Ranieri, have the benefit of the five goals put past Everton. Southampton, however, if able to catch the Hornets on an off day, could have an afternoon to remember.<\/p>\n Watford 1-2 Southampton\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Tottenham v Manchester United pits the desperate against the even more desperate. Nuno Esp\u00edrito Santo needs a win, but at least he hasn\u2019t just lost 5-0 to his biggest rival. It very much feels like a loss for either manager will be the nail in the coffin, perhaps more so for Solskjaer.<\/p>\n As a result of what a loss could mean, many are expecting to see a tight, and tentative affair, especially given the lack of goals in the Tottenham side right now. If Harry Kane is at his best – which is yet to happen this season – then the hosts could hand their visitors another thrashing. It has to be said, however, this could quickly turn into a statement-making day for United; a day in which Solskjaer\u2019s job is saved for one more week.<\/p>\n Tottenham 0-2 Manchester United<\/b><\/p>\n The relegation battle is usually so full of excitement and anticipation in the Premier League. But not this season. This season, it all feels a bit obvious as to who faces the drop; certain sides have looked out of their depth from the very first whistle, with Norwich City the prime culprits. The \u2018yo-yo\u2019 club that they are, it has become a certainty that we\u2019ll see the Canaries again in exactly one season, as they go down before springing straight back up.<\/p>\n This season feels like the most worrying for Daniel Farke\u2019s side, however. It is becoming increasingly difficult to pick out a game that they seem capable of winning. And, with the lowest-points record that Derby County currently hold (11) three wins away, it could be an embarrassing year for Norwich.<\/p>\n Leeds United have the opportunity to move three points clear of the drop-zone if results go their way; an opportunity they\u2019ll welcome with open arms.<\/p>\n Norwich City 0-2 Leeds United<\/strong><\/p>\n Aston Villa Take on West Ham<\/strong><\/p>\n In what could be the game with the most goals this weekend, Aston Villa take on West Ham hoping to turn their form around. Dean Smith\u2019s side haven\u2019t won in three games, and, despite all of the ambitions following a summer spending spree, they sit as low as 13th in the Premier League table. At their best, they can be blisteringly good; a slight drop off often results in an afternoon to forget, however.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, West Ham are flying. The Hammers have just knocked Manchester City out of the Carabao Cup for the first time in four years, whilst remaining unbeaten in the Europa League, and sitting fourth in the Premier League. Simply put, the London club have never looked so sustainably good. They do not look like a flash in a pan; they are here to stay, ready to claim a position at the top table. And, against Villa, they should continue that stride towards that empty chair.<\/p>\n Aston Villa 1-3 West Ham<\/strong><\/p>\n After losing 5-2 to Watford at Goodison Park, the pressure is on Everton to get back to winning ways against Wolves, who conceded late on to draw against Leeds last time out. In comparison to last season under Esp\u00edrito Santo, Wolves look like a side more than capable of finding the back of the net, especially with new talisman Hwang Hee-chan leading the line.
