The 29-year-old joins on a deal until the end of the current season, with the option of the club extending for another season. Brady has been without a club since being released by <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/football\/2021\/09\/17\/burnley-reward-sean-dyche-for-sustained-progress\/\" target=\"_self\">Burnley<\/a> at the end of last season. Upon the completion of the transfer, Bournemouth chief executive Neill Blake told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.afcb.co.uk\/news\/first-team\/brady-signs-for-the-cherries\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">afcb.co.uk<\/a>: \u201cTo be able to sign a player of Robbie\u2019s experience and calibre on a free transfer is a coup for the football club.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRobbie has huge quality and versatility to add another important option to Scott Parker and his coaching staff.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cProven at the top level, Robbie knows what it takes to be a Premier League player and we\u2019re delighted he has chosen to join us at Vitality Stadium.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Brady Hoping to Get Career Back on Track<\/h3>\n<p>At 29-years-old, Brady still has many years ahead of him, despite the stuttering progress he showed at times at Burnley. Injuries held him back, as he featured in only 87 out of a possible 167 Premier League matches for The Clarets.<\/p>\n<p>Whilst he spent his time at Burnley involved in relegation battles, he joins a Bournemouth side hoping to rejoin the top flight. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.afcb.co.uk\/videos\/interviews\/watch-bradys-first-cherries-interview\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Speaking to afcb.co.uk<\/a> on Bournemouth&#8217;s promotion aspirations, he said: &#8220;It&#8217;s going to take a lot of hard work, everyone knows that in this division you&#8217;ve got to get the basics right first, and that&#8217;s hard work and getting that tight-knit group together and becoming a force.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Bournemouth have made an excellent start to the season, sitting top of the Championship with 28 points.
