Southgate’s decision follows a mixed weekend for Ward-Prowse at Southampton. The 26-year-old scored at Stamford Bridge before being sent off as the Saints lost 3-1 to now-league leaders Chelsea<\/a>.<\/p>\n His goal on Saturday, October 2, was his second of the season with plenty more expected from the set-piece expert.<\/p>\n The Southampton captain has a healthy output going forward and will no doubt continue that. Ward-Prowse has scored one goal in eight appearances for the England national team so far.<\/p>\n Elsewhere, Ben Chilwell replaced Chelsea teammate Reece James in the setup yesterday, whilst Tammy Abraham was added following a Man of the Match display for Roma against Empoli at the weekend.
