Wolverhampton Wanderers<\/a> are interested in late moves for RB Leipzig<\/a> attacker Hwang Hee-chan and Marseille defender Duje Caleta-Car.<\/p>\n

Lewis Cox of The Express and Star<\/a> reports that Hwang is one of Wolves’ top targets for the remaining few days of the window, while French outlet RMC Sport<\/a> say that the club have lodged a \u20ac15 million bid for Croatian centre-back Caleta-Car.<\/p>\n

Late Moves for Pair<\/h3>\n

Wolves have had a fairly quiet window this summer, but after losing their first two Premier League games of the season under new boss Bruno Lage, there may be a late flurry of transfer activity at Molineux.<\/p>\n

South Korea international Hwang is at the top of Wolves’ targets. He currently plays for RB Leipzig in Germany and helped them to a second-place finish last season having joined from fellow Red Bull club FC Salzburg that summer.<\/p>\n

Hwang was said to be a target for Wolves before when Nuno Espirito Santo was in charge, but this time around, Leipzig are willing to let their frontman leave.<\/p>\n

Wolves could be in need of forward reinforcements if Adama Traore was allowed to leave the club. They have already rejected an initial approach from Tottenham Hotspur<\/a> for the Spain international, according to John Percy and Matt Law of The Telegraph<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Spurs had hoped to open talks over an initial loan deal with a view to a permanent move next summer. However, Wolves stood firm over their desire to keep the winger.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, RMC Sport are reporting that Lage’s side have submitted a bid for Croatian defender Duje Caleta-Car.<\/p>\n

West Ham United<\/a> have also shown an interest in the 24-year-old, although they are also close to completing the signing of Kurt Zouma from Chelsea. Whether they go for both defenders remains to be seen.<\/p>\n

Caleta-Car was linked with a loan move to Liverpool<\/a> in January in the midst of their defensive crisis before they eventually opted for Ozan Kabak.<\/p>\n

Sven Botman Bid Made<\/h3>\n

According to Fabrizio Romano,\u00a0<\/a>Wolves have made an official bid for Lille defender Sven Botman, who is thought to be one of the best young defenders in European football.<\/p>\n

As the window reaches its end, it is clear that Bruno Lage wants to make further improvements to his squad, as he looks to keep Wolves within their mid-table comforts.<\/p>\n
