Paris Saint-Germain<\/a> have reportedly received a bid from Real Madrid<\/a> for France striker Kylian Mbapp\u00e9, who is thought to envisage his long-term future as being away from Ligue 1.<\/p>\n

According to Fabrizio Romano<\/a>, the Spanish giants have tabled a formal offer of \u20ac160 million for the 22-year-old. PSG, however, are yet to give the green light.<\/p>\n

Ligue 1 Side Unwilling to Sanction a Sale<\/h3>\n

Ligue 1 leaders PSG have been trying to tie Mbapp\u00e9 down to a long-term contract for several months, but have been unsuccessful in their efforts to agree a new deal with the World Cup winner, who has rejected their last three contract offers.<\/p>\n

Mbapp\u00e9 is understood to be open to the idea of running down his current deal, which runs until the summer of 2022, if he is unable to secure a move to the Spanish capital before then.<\/p>\n

The former Monaco forward grew up a huge admirer of La Liga juggernauts Real Madrid, idolising the likes of Zinedine Zidane and Cristiano Ronaldo – two men who have achieved legendary status with\u00a0Los Blancos<\/em>.<\/p>\n

PSG have clearly not given up on their desire to keep Mbapp\u00e9 at the Parc des Princes for the long-term, with their persistence in attempting to tie the forward down to a new deal indicating that.<\/p>\n

Mauricio Pochettino Expects Mbapp\u00e9 Stay<\/h3>\n

PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino has the task of harbouring the talents of an expensively-assembled squad, and the Argentine expects Mbapp\u00e9 to remain a part of that squad for at least the next year.<\/p>\n

Addressing the player’s contractual situation, Pochettino recently told the media<\/a>: “It’s clear that his contract runs for another year if he doesn’t extend it, so he’s a PSG player and we’re happy with him and, for what he shows me, he’s also happy with us.”<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, Pochettino will perhaps be concerned with recent developments amid Real Madrid’s interest in the player. The arrival of Lionel Messi to the club appears to have done little to persuade Mbapp\u00e9 that his future lies in his homeland.<\/p>\n
