Nottingham Forest have made their fourth signing of the summer with the arrival of James Garner on a loan deal from Manchester United.<\/p>\n
James Garner is to return to Nottingham Forest until the end of the season\u00a0after completing a loan switch to the City Ground.<\/p>\n
The Manchester United<\/a> midfielder returns to the club with whom he spent the second half of last season in order to continue his development away from Old Trafford.<\/p>\n Garner, who is expected to pen a new contract with the Red Devils as part of his loan move to Forest, made 20 appearances with Forest and scored four goals while on Trentside.<\/p>\n The 20-year-old has spent pre-season as part of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first-team plans but has been sent to the City Ground on a temporary basis.<\/p>\n Earlier in the week, the United boss said:<\/a> “I would definitely think Jimmy will go on loan, that’s more or less done.<\/p>\n “He’s done really well and really impressed me. For his career, another season or another six months playing regularly will help him.”<\/p>\n
