Fulham<\/a> have confirmed<\/a> that forward Aboubakar Kamara has joined Greek Super League side Aris Thessaloniki on a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee. The 26-year-old striker departs Craven Cottage after spending four years at the club.<\/p>\n

On Monday, Aris released a teaser<\/a> on social media that a deal for Kamara would be completed soon. The transfer was then\u00a0confirmed<\/a> the following day.<\/p>\n

Kamara Departs for Greece<\/h3>\n

Kamara joined Fulham in the summer of 2017 from French side Amiens for a fee of just over \u00a35 million.<\/p>\n

But after a four-year stay in west London, he will now leave the Cottagers for Thessaloniki in Greece, with 94 appearances and 17 goals to his name.<\/p>\n

The Mauritian international played a role in Fulham\u2019s two promotion campaigns, starting in both Championship play-off final victories against Aston Villa<\/a> in 2018 and Brentford<\/a> in 2020 respectively.<\/p>\n

The forward managed to record\u00a023 appearances in both of Fulham\u2019s brief stints in the Premier League and spent the second half of last season on loan at Ligue 1 side Dijon.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the club\u2019s website on Kamara\u2019s exit, Fulham co-owner and director of football Tony Khan said<\/a>: \u201cI\u2019m grateful to Abou for his service to Fulham since his arrival in 2017. He made valuable contributions over the years, and he started for us at Wembley in both of our Play-Off Final wins in 2018 and 2020.<\/p>\n

Kamara becomes Fulham\u2019s fourth permanent departure of the summer alongside Marcus Bettinelli<\/a>, Stefan Johansen and Kevin McDonald, who has become a free agent after the expiration of his contract.<\/p>\n
