Sassuolo midfielder Manuel Locatelli has completed his move to Juventus<\/a>, signing a deal until 2026, which will begin with a two-year loan spell with an obligation to buy.\u00a0The Italian joins after impressing many at the recent Euro 2020 tournament<\/a>, where he picked up a winner’s medal. A move has been rumoured since the beginning of the summer, and Locatelli will be delighted to get it over the line.<\/p>\n

As for Sassuolo, they\u2019ll also be glad to see the back of the ordeal, having reportedly pocketed \u20ac35 million, plus add ons.<\/p>\n

Massimiliano Allegri\u2019s task at hand this season is to reclaim the Serie A throne after Juventus lost out to Inter Milan<\/a> in the last campaign, resulting in Andre Pirlo\u2019s swift exit.<\/p>\n

Adding Manuel Locatelli shows a sign of intent; intent of winning the Scudetto once more under Allegri. They had to fight off competition to secure his signature, too, with Arsenal also linked with attempting a move at one stage. Keen for Champions League football, however, the midfielder opted to stay in Italy and join the title candidates.<\/p>\n

Of course, the main attraction of Juventus is silverware, but the chance of playing with a certain Cristiano Ronaldo also offers something not many can turn down. The fact the legendary forward is entering the final year of his contract in Turin, means that time is running out to play alongside him in Italy.<\/p>\n

Locatelli, having agreed a move, will be able to tick many goals off the bucket list. He can tick the box for playing alongside Ronaldo, playing in the Champions League, and potentially winning the Scudetto.<\/p>\n

The only obstacle standing in his way will be competition. The likes of Weston McKennie, Arthur, Adrien Rabiot, and Rodrigo Bentancur will all be vying for a place in Allegri\u2019s midfield alongside newcomer Manuel Locatelli.<\/p>\n
