Valencia have entered the race to sign centre-back Trevoh Chalobah on loan from Chelsea, according to Goal’s Chelsea correspondent Nizaar Kinsella.<\/a><\/p>\n

The 22-year-old has had an impressive pre-season for the European Champions,<\/a> which has caught the eye of the La Liga club.<\/p>\n

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is open to sending Chalobah on loan and is set to strongly consider promoting the England U21 international to his first-team squad next season.<\/p>\n

Valencia Looking to Sign Trevoh Chalobah on Loan<\/h2>\n

Chelsea Looking to Create Space for Jules Kounde<\/h3>\n

According to Kinsella<\/a>, Chelsea want to free up space as they look to sign Sevilla defender Jules Kounde.<\/a> The Blues are looking to sell Kurt Zouma for between \u00a320 and \u00a330 million, as well as loaning out Chalobah.<\/p>\n

The 22-year-old has featured heavily in pre-season and impressed in his loan spell at Ligue 1 side Lorient last season. Tuchel certainly feels he has a big future at Chelsea as he has told the hierarchy not to sell him at any cost.<\/p>\n

However, sending him on loan will benefit Chalobah in the long term. Also, it is a chance to get first-team football which will be pivotal for his development.<\/p>\n

Chelsea are keen to find Chalobah a club that will use him as a centre-back instead of in midfield. It appears that Valencia are willing to do that.<\/p>\n

Likely Chelsea Departures<\/h3>\n

There is likely to be a number of Chelsea players departing before the end of the transfer window<\/a>. Tammy Abraham<\/a> has been linked with Arsenal,<\/a> Atalanta and Roma in recent weeks. However, none of the clubs are willing to pay the \u00a340 million asking price.<\/p>\n

Marcos Alonso or Emerson Palmieri could also be heading out of Stamford Bridge. Also, Kenedy, Matt Miazga, Davide Zappacosta<\/a>, Danny Drinkwater, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Ross Barkley are all on the transfer list.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, young striker Armando Broja has joined Southampton on loan<\/a>.<\/p>\n
