Tottenham Hotspur<\/a> target Cristian Romero is set to tell the board at Atalanta that he wants to join the English club. According to Jake Stokes of football.london<\/a> and Fabrizio Romano<\/a>, the Argentine feels that the move is “an opportunity he can’t miss”.<\/p>\n

A Priority Move for Romero<\/h3>\n

After weeks of talks between Spurs and Atalanta for the centre-back, it appears Romero is about to push for the move himself.<\/p>\n

He sees moving to the North London club as a priority but Atalanta are yet to accept a bid from Spurs for his transfer.<\/p>\n

The Serie A side are demanding around \u20ac50 million for the defender; a sum Spurs have so far been reluctant to meet.<\/p>\n

However, now that Romero seems keen to push the move through himself, Spurs may be more willing to up their bid to get the move done.<\/p>\n
