Manuel Locatelli is a man in demand this summer after a storming Euro 2020 tournament, with Juventus<\/a> desperate to sign him. Now, according to Sassuolo CEO Andrea Carnevali,\u00a0as reported by Fabrizio Romano<\/a>, the player himself wants to seal the move and will be in direct contact with the club today.<\/p>\n

The midfielder is wanted by teams all across Europe but it seems to be divisional rivals Juventus who are the most appealing to the player. It would give him the chance to stay in his native country but could also give him the chance to challenge higher up the table for the Serie A title.<\/p>\n

Juventus do face direct competition from some sides in England though. It\u2019s now common knowledge that Arsenal<\/a> have been eager to bring Locatelli to the Premier League, but it\u2019s now reported that another English side has entered the race to try and sign him.<\/p>\n

If this other Premier League side provides a tempting option, then he could very well change his mind and decide to snub a move to Juventus. However, right now, the Italian side are high on Locatelli\u2019s list of potential clubs.<\/p>\n

Excited Many at Euro 2020<\/h3>\n

The 23-year old is arguably one of the most exciting prospects in football right now and has set the world alight after his barnstorming showings for Italy at Euro 2020, helping lead them to the trophy.<\/a><\/p>\n

He\u2019s been one of the most impressive players in Italy for a few seasons now and has helped establish Sassuolo as a top half regular. However, the side continue to struggle to battle for domestic titles and Juventus would provide Locatelli with the chance to finally bag some league titles.<\/p>\n

His style of play is exciting and his passing ability and vision at such a young age means he would easily slot into the Juventus side if he does decide to join them. However, with news of a new English club declaring an interest in him, it might not be as straightforward to land his signature now.<\/p>\n
