Bournemouth winger Junior Stanislas has agreed a new\u00a0two-year contact, an official club statement\u00a0has confirmed.<\/p>\n
Bournemouth<\/a> have confirmed that 31-year-old winger Stanislas has put to pen paper on a new two-year deal at the Vitality Stadium, meaning he will have been at the club for nine years when the new contract ends after joining the club from Burnley in 2014 on a free transfer.<\/p>\n Stanislas told the official Bournemouth websit<\/a>e that he is delighted a new deal has finally been reached after it had taken some time for terms to be agreed:\u00a0“It’s dragged out a little but I’ve always wanted to be here.\u00a0<\/span>I’m delighted it’s finally over the line and I can now focus my mind on the next two years.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Stanislas has proved to be an important player for Bournemouth, helping the club gain promotion to the Premier League just one season after he had helped former club Burnley<\/a>\u00a0achieve the same result.<\/p>\n In the 2021\/21 Championship season, the winger scored ten times as the club made it to the play-offs before failing to reach the final. Stanislas will be looking to add more goals in the new season as the club look to return to the Premier League at the second time of asking.
