The latest Kylian Mbappe contract update does not bode well for Paris Saint-Germain. <\/a>According to Fabrizio Romano, cited by PSG Talk<\/a>, the youngster remains unconvinced by the nine-time Ligue 1 champions.<\/span><\/p>\n

As it stands, the Frenchman will leave as the hottest free agent on the planet in one year\u2019s time. If that scenario does happen, expect Mbappe to be the bait to a circle of sharks in the transfer market. Every top club will have an offer on the table; a hope that they will be the ones to secure a truly generational talisman.<\/span><\/p>\n

As for PSG, panic will be starting to creep in. They\u2019ve just lost out on the Ligue 1 title against all odds for the first time since 2017 when they lost out to Monaco. The man at the centre of that team? Kylian Mbappe.<\/span><\/p>\n

This summer, all of the parts have finally fallen into place for PSG. They have their star \u00a0manager in Mauricio Pochettino. They have their leader in Sergio Ramos<\/a> and they have another winner and man for the big occasion in Georginio Wijnaldum. <\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

They no longer look a nearly team with just two generational stars to boast. They look a side ready to challenge for Europe\u2019s greatest honours. And, for the first time, even the greatest of doubters would read that line somewhat convinced of its truth.<\/span><\/p>\n

One problem has seemingly come to the fore, however, and that is Kylian Mbappe and his contract. Take from near the top of a Jenga tower and it does not fall. Take a piece from the bottom which takes far too long to dislodge, however, and the entire thing comes crashing down. Mbappe is the piece that keeps PSG together; the player that adds the needed fear factor. Take him away and PSG may fall.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tying Kylian Mbappe down to a new contract must remain PSG\u2019s biggest and most important goal if they want to remain on course for the top European prize.<\/span><\/p>\n
