Denmark<\/a>, on the other hand, fought off a tricky Czech Republic<\/a> side 2-1 to send themselves to Wembley for the tie with England.<\/p>\n

The Danes have now held 1-0 leads at half-time in their last three outings and are slowly becoming recognised a team that looks to set the tone of a match quickly.<\/p>\n

Thomas Delaney broke the deadlock on five minutes heading home Jens Stryger Larsen\u2019s pinpoint corner. Denmark almost conceded shortly afterwards but Kasper Schmeichel proved unbeaten.<\/p>\n

A smooth counterattack, and a delightful outside of the boot cross from Joakim M\u00e6hle, provided the Danes with their second as Kasper Dolberg was on hand to tumble the ball over the line.<\/p>\n

The Danes started the second half slowly with the Czechs flying out of the traps: Patrik Schick was reeled onto the end of Vladimir Coufal\u2019s cross to hand the Czech Republic a lifeline.<\/p>\n

A strong Danish rearguard ensured the Czechs were unable to force extra-time and sent the Scandinavian side into their third-ever semi-final.<\/p>\n
