The News Has Put Chelsea and Manchester United on Alert<\/span><\/h3>\n

The England international is contracted with West Ham until 2024 with an option of extending the deal until 2025. Rumours of interest in Rice have pushed The Hammers to try to extend his deal further.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the report, West Ham are set to offer Rice more offers and continue to push the midfielder to extend his stay at the London club. The 22-year-old has made 131 West Ham appearances and earned 21 England caps along with three for the Republic of Ireland.<\/span><\/p>\n

Another impressive season at the London Stadium has put him on the radar of\u00a0<\/span>Chelsea<\/span><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>Manchester United.<\/span><\/a>\u00a0The defensive midfielder played a key role in his side’s sixth-placed finish in the Premier League last season.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rice Won’t Be Taken from West Ham Easily<\/span><\/h3>\n

West Ham value Rice at approximately \u00a3100 million.<\/span><\/a>\u00a0The midfielder does not agree with the club’s valuation and is expected to be disappointed with his club if it rejects any offer over \u00a360 million.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is reported that he is interested in joining his close friend Mason Mount at his former club Chelsea. He is also interested in hearing offers from United and\u00a0<\/span>Manchester City<\/span><\/a>, but the latter are not wanting to make a move for Rice until next year when Fernandinho’s contract expires.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to\u00a0<\/span>Fabrizio Romano<\/span><\/a>, Frank Lampard wanted to sign Rice last year, with the club less keen on a move for the former Chelsea academy player. Thomas Tuchel is said to be as interested as Lampard was, with The Blues prioritising a move for a defensive midfielder this summer.<\/span><\/p>\n
