AFC Bournemouth<\/span><\/a>\u00a0winger Arnaut Danjuma is being closely monitored by Bundesliga outfit VfL Wolfsburg,\u00a0<\/span>according to Fabrizio Romano.<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

The 24-year-old has been subject to higher-level interest since Bournemouth’s promotion ambitions were cut off in the play-offs in May.<\/span><\/p>\n

Arnaut Danjuma Attracting the Attention of Several Clubs<\/span><\/h2>\n

Netting five times and grabbing a further assist in the first half of the season, the Dutchman sprang into devastating form in late February. In the final 14 games of the Championship season, Danjuma scored nine times, assisting a further five.<\/span><\/p>\n

His emergence as one of the division’s most feared players coincided with Bournemouth’s resurgence. In late February, the Cherries dropped out of the play-offs for the first time all season. However, Danjuma’s excellence in the final third helped Jonathan Woodgate’s men secure a place in the top six.<\/span><\/p>\n

Wolfsburg Enter the Race for the Talented Winger<\/span><\/h3>\n

Although Danjuma has expressed his desire to play in the Premier League, Wolfsburg, who are now led by Mark van Bommel, are reportedly working to win over the 24-year-old.<\/span><\/p>\n

The German club secured Champions League football for the 2021-22 campaign with a fourth-place finish last time out – a factor that could play a huge part in Danjuma’s decision-making.<\/span><\/p>\n

Other Interested Parties<\/span><\/h3>\n

Southampton<\/span><\/a>\u00a0are also in the hunt for Danjuma.\u00a0<\/span>Saints boss Ralph Hassenhuttl told Hampshire Live:<\/span><\/a>\u00a0“We are looking at full-backs, wingers, and other players. We are sure that there are some coming in the summer.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Leicestershire Live also confirmed<\/span><\/a>\u00a0that the Foxes were also tracking Danjuma, before proceeding to list\u00a0<\/span>Brighton<\/span><\/a>,\u00a0<\/span>Watford<\/span><\/a>, and\u00a0<\/span>Wolverhampton Wanderers<\/span><\/a>\u00a0as clubs who were also in pursuit.<\/span><\/p>\n

It seems that it is becoming an increasingly difficult task for the Cherries to keep hold of their star man. However, Danjuma still has three years left on his contract and will not come cheap.<\/span><\/p>\n
