With some teams already through, their managers will likely try out a few new players in this matchday. So, it would be better to pick players from teams needing a result to go through.<\/p>\n

As we will know the lineups of the two games of Group A, it might be a good idea to have a few starters from those two matches. You should particularly target the Italian players that start as there might be some bargains to have there. With unlimited transfers available before the knockout stages, you could decide to deploy the wildcard in this matchday.<\/p>\n

Day One – Group A<\/span><\/h3>\n

With a brilliant win against Turkey, Wales<\/a> have almost sealed their qualification to the knockout stages. Italy are through and will win the group with a draw. A draw might suit both teams. With that in mind, Roberto Mancini might be tempted to rest a few players. Thankfully, we will get the lineups before the deadline so can change our squads accordingly.<\/p>\n

There are so many great options to choose from the Italian squad. Leonardo Spinazzola, Domenico Berardi, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Ciro Immobile, Manuel Locatelli and Lorenzo Insigne are all good options if they start. You should make the changes after the lineups are announced to ensure that the picks are starting.<\/p>\n

Switzerland and Turkey will be fighting to get the third spot. The Swiss have a better chance to make it out of the group with a win as that will take them to four points whereas things look rather bleak for the Turks, with a minus-five goal difference and no points on the board. However, they would like to end the tournament with a win. It should be a good game with both teams going for victory. Breel Embolo, Xherdan Shaqiri and Ricardo Rodriguez are probably the best options from Switzerland whereas none of the players from Turkey have impressed so far.<\/p>\n

Day Two – Groups B and C<\/span><\/h3>\n

Group B is nicely poised with Russia and Finland tied on three points each. Finland have not threatened much so Belgium defenders should do well. However, will they rest some of their players? The likes of Eden Hazard and Kevin De Bruyne should start this one to get some minutes under their belts, while Romelu Lukaku could get a rest in this one. The Belgian defence has not looked that solid but they might keep a clean sheet in this one. Thomas Meunier should start and could do well.<\/p>\n

Denmark will need all three points against Russia to have any chance of going through. However, it won’t be easy for them to get the win against opponents who only require a point to go through. The Danes played really well against Belgium, especially in the first half. If they can play like that against Russia, they should get the three points. Joakim M\u00e6hle was impressive against Belgium and is a pick that should excite the Euro Fantasy Football managers.<\/p>\n

In Group C, there is a playoff-type situation between Austria and Ukraine. Both teams are on three points each and a win will see them through to the knockout rounds.<\/p>\n

A draw might be enough for both teams also but you cannot be sure about that. Andriy Yarmolenko, Roman Yaremchuk, Ruslan Malinovskiy and Oleksandr Zinchenko are all decent options from Ukraine. Malinovskiy was extremely unlucky to not get any points in the last game. Maybe his luck will turn against Austria. On the other hand, David Alaba, Marcel Sabitzer and the returning Marko Arnautovi\u0107 will be key for the Austrians.<\/p>\n

With the Netherlands already through, they might decide to mix things up a bit and try a few players. North Macedonia have not done too badly so far and will hope to get a point from their inaugural Euro campaign. You should be wary of rotation in the Netherlands camp and pick players accordingly.<\/p>\n

Day Three – Group D<\/span><\/h3>\n

England<\/a> will take on the Czech Republic knowing that a draw sees both teams through. A draw will mean England finish second in the group which will actually see them get a better draw on paper for the round of 16. Despite winning the opening game, Gareth Southgate changed his full-backs against Scotland. So, you cannot predict the starting 11, especially after their lethargic display against the Scots. Patrick Schick has scored all three of the Czech goals so far but you wouldn’t want to go for him in this fixture.<\/p>\n

Croatia v Scotland has all the ingredients for an exciting game. Both teams need a win to stay alive in the competition. Scotland have failed to score so far whereas Croatia have not looked so impressive as well. Ivan Peri\u0161i\u0107 is probably the only one worth considering.<\/p>\n

Day Four – Groups E and F<\/span><\/h3>\n

Sweden on four points top Group E and need only a draw against Poland to make sure of qualification, whereas Slovakia will also go through with a point against Spain. This group has been a really uninspiring one to pick players from so far with defenders picking up the most points.<\/p>\n

Sweden picks like Emil Forsberg and Alexander Isak look decent but, with Poland needing a win, you could consider Robert Lewandowski. On the other hand, Jordi Alba remains the best pick from the Spanish defenders. Alvaro Morata and Gerardo Moreno are also decent shouts. Spain need a win but they are having a lot of problems scoring goals. Could they crash out from the group stages?<\/p>\n

In Group F, Germany are the ones to target as they take on Hungary and will want to go through with a win. A clean sheet is also possible so Robin Gosens and Mats Hummels are decent options to consider. From the attackers, you could go for Thomas M\u00fcller, Kai Havertz and Serge Gnabry. Hungary have done well at home but this match is in Germany.<\/p>\n

France need only a draw to go through but might finish in second place if they do that. Portugal will likely need to win to progress. This could be a tense game and it’s probably better to avoid assets from it.<\/p>\n

Euro 2020 Fantasy Football Matchday Two Draft Wildcard Squad<\/span><\/h3>\n

As we will know the lineups of the two matches on day one, we should try to take a few players from those sides. Three Italians might be the way to go with one or two players from Switzerland thrown in. However, it is very difficult to build a wildcard squad after coming back from the limitless chip.<\/p>\n

Goalkeepers<\/strong>: You could try with Safonov with Simon to come in on day four. Donnarumma is the safe choice if he starts. Bushchan, Schmeichell, Bachmann, Sommer, Pickford, Neuer and Olsen are also good options.<\/p>\n

Defenders<\/strong>: Watch out for Acerbi, Di Lorenzo and Toloi in the Italian lineup. If any of them start, you should try to go for them.\u00a0 Elvedi, Mahle, Gosens, Hummels, P.Torres, Meunier, Ricardo Rodriguez and Danielson are the options to consider here. Thomas Vermaelen is likely to start so offers a cheaper option from the Belgian defenders.<\/p>\n

Midfielders<\/strong>: Eden Hazard and De Bruyne are serious contenders this week with both likely to start. Yarmolenko, Gnabry, Chiesa, Shaqiri, Perisic, Malinovskiy, Alaba, Havertz, Locatelli and Berardi are good options.<\/p>\n

Strikers<\/strong>: Arnautovic, Brathwaite, Yaremchuk, Embolo, Isak and Poulsen are decent options as mid-range strikers. With Lukaku likely to be rested and uncertainties over Depay, you should go for the sure starters with good matchups. Thomas M\u00fcller is a good option from the premium range. Harry Kane is also a decent option but he’s not looked good so far.<\/p>\n
